Please ensure that your music is not already distributed with another distributor. You may check from here if you are unsure if it is already available in China. In many cases it is possible to use our extensive services to distribute your music by opting out of China distribution from your current distributor. It may also be the case that if you are unaware that your music has already been distributed to China we may assist in helping you to claim your copyrights. In anycase our promotion sevices are always available to help boost your music even without using our distribution services.
Music sampling and cover songs
If you have sampled music in your releases or are releasing cover songs please be ready to provide licenses for your content.
After you purchase a distribution or promotion plan, you will receive an email that contains your username (your email address), a new password and a link to the distribution platform.
NOTE: The distribution platform website https://distribute.musicinfo.io/ is not the same as the webstore https://musicinfo.io/. Therefore, the account you have for our main website (our webstore), will not be the same as the account that you have for the distribution platform.
Use the login information from the email you received after you made the purchase to log into the distribution platform where you can set up your account (create a new password and update personal information). You can then start uploading your music.
As much as we try to inform you before and after your purchase about us and our products, it is in your own best interest to infrom yourself of your own music situation and read all the literature we have made available here on the webstore and FAQs.
When navigating Chinese websites, please be aware that the sites are stable but are not always available due to the Great Firewall of China (GFC), please be patient and if it doesn't work the first time try again at a later Chinese websites and can make functionaliity cumbersome.
Video sharing and social media is for promotion only. You will not receive any statistics or royalties nor does Musicinfo recieve any royalies or statistics from the sharing of your videos or music on posts or blogs or video platforms.

From the Distribution Platform you can upload your content for Social Media Promotion, Social Media Promotion Pro and Video Sharing.
We will send you screenshots of your social media promotion once the upload has been made via the distribution platform and the post has been posted to Weibo or WeChat. To view your social media promotion yourself on the Chinese social media platforms would require you set up your own accounts for Weibo and WeChat. With your own account you can also make daily contact with your fans which also have simple English version interfaces. Please look here for instructions.
From the Musicinfo Distribution Platform in the "promotion" tab you can upload your song with necessary info for playlisting. For more information about playlisting please read our blog: The Effects of Playlisting Your Music on Netease.
Reports are calculated and sent out quarterly with a 6 month delay for the first report from China, you will receive reports from our global distribution every quarter. The delay is due to the mass amount of services and the manual work involved in sorting the reports. Once we receive the reports from China we will sort, translate and upload to your distibution platforms. Please note we can only report statistics aquired from the usage of your music. There will be nothing to report from any non-usage from the DSPs. Global reports will appear quarterly without the delay we experience from China.
