We all know that there are so many things lacking in what streaming services could be offering to their listeners and to their artists.
1. Have more intuitive non-biased algorithms that will find me similar music that I have NEVER heard before. We all know there are over 100,000 tracks uploaded every day. Why listen to the same stuff over and again pushed by these services?
2. Have new release charts of ALL the releases not just the ones they are paid to promote. Yes I am lazy and want someone to do all the work too so premade playlists can be handy, however there gets to be a point when enough is enough, I just can't take it anymore, if only there was an other option.
3. Make it easy for me to see who in the world is listening to the same music as me and what other kinds of music they are listening to over there.
4. Let me zoom in on the cover art and even let me download it as my device wallpaper.
5. Every artist has an artist page with links to their social media and websites.
6. Let me know the names of all the contributors on the release, the composers, songwriters and performers, etc. -If there was this level of accountability on a release then there would be a lot less “artificial” content-
7. Let listeners add comments and have discussions about the music, where the music is being listened to.
8. Make it possible and easy for me to make cash payments directly to my artist. We all know artists are getting a raw deal with streaming music, even with its pros, the cons seem to outweigh by far, let us fans put the dough into the pockets of the ones making our music.
