Musicinfo’s Artist Of The Month Wendy Moore grew up in the coastal town of Zandvoort, The Netherlands surrounded by music. Her parents owned local bars filled with live performances, where her fascination with the stage quietly began, though it would take years before she realised it was her calling.

For the first half of her life, Wendy competed in dressage at an international level. Eventually, she traded her Olympic ambitions for a guitar and taught herself everything from scratch.
Wendy creates music that feels like a light in the dark. Her sound moves between raw pop-rock and dark alternative tones, echoing influences such as Avril Lavigne, Billie Eilish, and Twenty One Pilots. Her songs transform anger, grief, and hope into something both powerful and deeply human.
