Baggio is an artistic force who gives music everything he’s got. Born in the small town in The Netherlands he grew up listening to the classics…from the Beach Boys to AC/DC. He was so drawn to music that he saved up enough money to buy his first guitar at 7 years old and his first performance arrived a few short months later. His fierce discipline not only led to countless hours of playing the guitar and singing but learning many other instruments and studio production. By the time he was 13, Baggio had written several radio and television commercials and co-produced another artist. Once again, Baggio saved up enough money to purchase a second-hand vintage Kramer Striker 300ST, which he still plays today. However, in 2017, Baggio entered into the ‘Kramer Guitars’ family and was presented with a brand new Kramer guitar.
In 2016 Baggio was approached by The Voice and asked to become one of the contestants. Baggio chose to perform a cover of ABBA’s “Does Your Mother Know.” It only took a mere 22 seconds for all four judges to turn their chairs around welcoming the 18-year-old to the show. His dynamic performance made him a fan favorite.
Since appearing on The Voice, Baggio has released the self-penned single “You Want Me” which he premiered on the live national TV show Carlo’s TV Café (RTL4/ RTL Europe). Shortly after this performance, American rock artist Mitch Malloy (former singer Van Halen) reached out to Baggio and soon began writing and co-producing. This collaboration spawned Baggio’s single, “It’s Gettin’ Hot In Here.” They talked about their collaboration on the TV show TELEGRAAF VNDG. “Baggio is just so talented and cool…he’s such a rock star!” exclaims Malloy. Besides making his own art, he also writes for other artists like Bonnie Tyler and events like Eurovision Song Contest!
