Celestial Aeon Project is a one man project of Matti Paalanen. Main genres are orchestral soundtracks and electronic new-age soundscapes. Main influences are Jeremy Soule, Nobuo Uematsu, Mike Oldfield, Enigma, Deep Forest, Vangelis, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman. Produced in a home studio with virtual instruments and sample libraries, the soundscapes are at the same time nostalgic and modern. Project originally was meant to offer background music for pen&paper RPG sessions, but has since become more broad in its musical spectrum and vision. It has received really good welcome from RPG players and game masters.

Celestial Aeon Project is a fantasy music / celtic music project from Finland that focuses on emotional and cinematic, often a bit melancholic sound. CAP belongs to the family of artists backed up by the fast growing indie label from Finland, Ouranio Recordings (also responsible for Celestial Alignment, Frozen Silence, Project Divinity and Celestial Transmission to name a few)

I produce and compose mainly epic music, celtic music and fantasy themed soundtrack music for listening pleasure.
